Interactive Installation: Project Eve

Project Eve was part of ‘De Verleiding’ – an art exhibition organized by Saxion in small shops in the center of Enschede. In a team of four we built an interactive art installation using multitouch FTIR technology. Through our installation we gave the user the possibility to interact in realtime with Eve’s emotions. We stilized Eve in form of pure red lips.

Our installation was exhibited in a Cristine le duc shop.

In theory we had a working multitouch screen and a nice concept. Unfortunately during exhibition our flash application failed the ‘on-road test’. But anyway it was a very intense project with a lot of learning experience. I am an expert now for silicone roll on techniques (see making of) and the improvised bluescreen shooting was definitely worth it.
